Details

Windows opened with JavaScript without a Toolbar have a smearing effect (look at
the URL metioned).

I can't seem to reproduce the problem in the Aug 25th nightly build
(2002-08-25-05). Which build are you using ? Can you try with the latest build ?

If you can still repro, please provide a url to site .
The Aug 25th nightly build (2002-08-25-05)did the trick. Bug is gone.
