169714 - Outgoing mail freezes

Using an IBM PC with Win 2000, SP2.  Every time we send out going mail, the
machine freezes up.  Have to go into Task manager and shut down the program from
there.

I've experience the same on Linux with build 20021021

To reporduce I need to-do the following

1 Open a composer window
2 Add an email address, subject "test" and body "test" 
3 click on send
4 Mozilla stops functioning and doesn't return with an error in reasonable time
 >5 minutes

Killing the app is the only solution

I've no longer got this problem when installing the 20021025 build

persists with a new build.
