User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011128 Netscape6/6.2.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla win32 1.0.1 and 1.1 Scenario: - Windows 2000 - mail and browser work fine under Netscape 6.2.1 and earlier - install Mozilla 1.0.1 (also tried 1.1) - using manual proxy configuration, browser works fine, i.e., authentication succeeds; authentication under mail program doesn't work - under automatic proxy configuration, exactly the opposite is true, i.e., now mail works but not the browser authentication! - side note: using Linux 0.9x at home, authentication works jsut fine for both mail and browser What a mystery . . . reporter: you weren't sharing a profile between netscape and mozilla, were you? that doesn't work. can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2) in a profile that hasn't been used by netscape? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
