It actually does get to showing the title of the page in the window title bar but less than a second after that - bam! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. this site uses Java, update to latest JRE 1.4.1 for Linux and try again. JRE 1.3.x is known to crash quite a lot.

I'm going to resolve this INVALID. The reporter's build was over a month old when he reported this, and he hasn't responded to the comments. Eugene, if you can reproduce this with current versions of mozilla and java, please reopen this bug. You should also confirm that your java plugin is correctly installed. The entry in the mozilla "plugins" directory must be a symbolic link to the real java plugin, not a copy of the file.
