After publishing a page to my site ftp://www.longestriver.org and then continuing to edit the same page, the Save button turns into a Publish button, the Save item on the file menu is grayed out, and there is no direct way to save further edits. If I do select the Publish button it publishes the last saved version rather than the unsaved version I am looking at on-screen. As a workaround I can select File>Save As, save as existing name & answer yes to overwrite. After this save the Save button and Save menu item perform normally until I publish again. This appears to be a consistently repeatable pattern: it has done it on more than one page on more than one day. I don't think it has performed otherwise at all. Wonderful program, though, especially for so new.

You must be testing an old version. This behavior was changed. "Save" always prompts you to save to disk. After publishing, you have to use "Publish" button or menuitem to "save remote". Please test a newer version of mozilla.
