I have a older compilation, cvs-ed and compiled October 26 This version work perfectly, not sure about the code as I no longer have the code but there are some diff. between the 2 how thet were compiled: working: freetype support disabled, compiler flags -xO5 not working: freetype support enabled, compiler flags -O but as this problem also occurred with Linux as well with Solaris I do not think the that freetype of the compiler flags are the problem?
