User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021017
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021017

The tree control which shows the mail folders seems to have a problem under the
modern theme. The "arrow" which exapnds/collapses the tree disappears when a
folder is collapsed.

Double clicking which expands the item in other tree controls in the rest of
mozilla (e.g., prefs) opens the folder in a new window.

After a day or so, I realizes that the icon is just not displaying when
collapsed so if you are smart enough to click on exactly the right spot, you can
expand closed folders. I would not under estimate the confusion this might
cause especially for "normal" users. To all appearances you've lost the
contents of your mail folders.

I suspect that this may be attributable to the UI library, but when combined
with grapping the double click event in mail, it leads to a worse problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.CHoose modern theme
2. Restart
3. Collapse a folder

Actual Results:
The "arrow" is gone

Expected Results:
Display the arrow sideways
This Problem occurs on all tree list under moder them even in preferences.
Add: I discover the problem under Solaris, this bug should be CONFIRMED now.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.
