User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021104 Chimera/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021104 Chimera/0.6 Japanese text cannot be input into form text fields. When entering text into a form field, such as the search box on Google, after entering Japanese characters into the floating CJK palette, pressing RETURN once should insert the characters into the form field, and pressing RETURN again should activate the "Google Search" button. However, in Chimera 0.6, pressing RETURN once activates the "Google Search" button without first inserting the Japanese characters into the form field. This worked fine on v0.5. Another problem: when using the CJK input system (only Japanese tested), any characters entered in the floating palette cannot be edited (e.g. deleted). Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Reporter, you indicated you didn't try to reproduce this problem. Please make at least one attempt to reproduce it yourself.
