Vasisht, have you tried to create a new profile and start from that?
"Creating first window..." should mean there was no profile found.

WFM 1.2b 2002103110 Jagwire 10.2.2.
There seems to have been some problem with the existing profile when I upgraded
to OS X 10.2.2. After deleting the profile and creating a new one, mozilla works
fine. thanks, everyone.
