vcal is the early implementation of ical. We should be able to open up vcal
files, as well as ical files.
http://wmf.editthispage.com/discuss/msgReader$7900?mode=day has more information?

I will attach a sample .vcs file to this bug. I believe the only problem is
that the events don't have unique IDs to them.

This is one of the formats that Palm uses, I would mark this as
"we need this" and not just an enhancement.
'This is one of the formats that Palm uses, I would mark this as

It is an enhancement since ideally palm and outlook would support ical. (outlook
2002 already does, someone said.)

But I would mark dependencies on any bug that requires this. But it is still an rfe.

With bug 166028 out of the way, fixing this would just be a matter of adding
support for the .vcs extension in the import dialog.

OK, I think I've done that in CVS.
Fixed in cvs. Calendar now reads in vcs files.
