vcal is the early implementation of ical. We should be able to open up vcal files, as well as ical files. http://wmf.editthispage.com/discuss/msgReader$7900?mode=day has more information? I will attach a sample .vcs file to this bug. I believe the only problem is that the events don't have unique IDs to them.

This is one of the formats that Palm uses, I would mark this as "we need this" and not just an enhancement.
'This is one of the formats that Palm uses, I would mark this as we need this and not just an enhancement.' It is an enhancement since ideally palm and outlook would support ical. (outlook 2002 already does, someone said.) But I would mark dependencies on any bug that requires this. But it is still an rfe.

With bug 166028 out of the way, fixing this would just be a matter of adding support for the .vcs extension in the import dialog.

OK, I think I've done that in CVS.

Fixed in cvs. Calendar now reads in vcs files.
