It would be really great if we could have a shortcut to invert that setting. Cmd-Opt-click will open a new window/tab in: background if 'Load in Background' is NOT checked. foreground if 'Load in Background' is checked. The inversion of the value is better than having a shortcut for background and another one for foreground, people can choose what they prefer to have with the smaller shortcut, the default behavior of Cmd-click. cmd-shift-click does what you're asking for, and is the more appropriate shortcut, if you ask me. "shift" is often used for "inverted", whilst "option" is rather for "alternative". Umm... now is this a worksforme bug, or am I missing something.
