Details
Word has it that joe.chou won't be assuming his bugs any longer. There are 228 bugs in an open state assigned to either joe.chou@eng.sun.com or @sun.com.
this isn't a problem in the product that tracks bugs, it's a problem with the specific bmo.

There doesn't seem to be an actual request here. What do I have to do?

We need to locate a new default assignee for OJI. I asked Rob to file this and I'll be talking to folks at Sun to try to find a suitable replacement. No action necessary just yet.
Summary: joe.chou no longer → Browser: OJI is orphanned (joe.chou is gone)
there is a group in sun china browser team, they will take over it. dont warry about it.
Sorry for late response to this. Joshua xia (joshua.xia@sun.com) is working on taking over Joe's work now. Besides Joshua, a team(2 addtional developers and 1 QA) is working with him on taking over OJI. Actually, with strong java background knowledge, Joshua has been sharing the work with Joe for nearly one year.
