Following my bookmark to BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/) immediately crashes Mozilla. I launched this from a shell, but there was no output. Additionally, the feedback window never activates after this crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch mozilla1.3a 2.enter location http://news.bbc.co.uk/ 3.boom Actual Results: mozilla dies Expected Results: gone to the requested website

Make sure you have a symlink to the Java plug-in .so file, not the file itself. Upgrade to JRE 1.4.1_01.

doh! Yes, I had copied rather than linked. Created link and all is well.
