On builds between 1/19-1/31/03 on win2k, I have been unable to get anything
other than a blank mail window. None of my accounts are showm. And if I try to,
say, open my address book, Mozilla crashes.

So I had to go back to the 1/15/03 build which works.
does deleting XUL.mfl (profile directory) fix the issue ?

I deleted all xul.mfl files a while ago, and have no more xul.mfl files left!
What did fix it was a manual uninstall and deletion of the mozilla directory.
It is really frustrating when changes in the code suddenly require these drastic
methods. At the very least, we should be warned that "build ... requires a
complete uninstall and reinstall"
