Can't connect on port 1080. Just filed the same bug with netscape for its 7.01 
release. The port can't be changed because it is on a commersial 
product.Mozilla says the port is disabled for security reasons???.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set up a webserver that serves on port 1080
2. try to connect to it.
3. Error message saying the port is disabled for security reasons

Actual Results:  
see above

Expected Results:  
connected...

MSIE & Opera can connect.
-> invalid

I have read the release notes. We are a company that uses Mozilla a lot. We 
develop embedded linux devices and I'm not satisfied with bug closer hitlers. 
Your product still has this bug and it should be dealt with.

That is no bug, that's a wanted security feature that you can disable via
preferences.
