ALMOST all Linux applications have quit on me now and then. I don't understand
why you guys/gals/programmers just can't pop-up an error like in windows:
"The application XXX produced an error and will now quit.
  Contact your 'dealer' and (something..)..."
That would be nice.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
When this happens, does Mozilla exit with a non-zero exit code? If so, and you
don't see a notice that the application has exited with an error, that's an
issue with your operating system or windowing environment, not with Mozilla.
Mozilla has no control over how your operating system handles crashes.
I occasionally see the type of silent crash like this and there's no message
whatsoever. It just disappears. Usually this is after I've been running a day
or more without restarting the browser. I am running under Windows 2000. Of
course, the talkback doesn't detect what occured.

Do you have a java installed and is it corupted?
Adam - I know it's frustrating, but we need more info - a way to reproduce it,
some data or diagnosis. Otherwise, it should be Resolved: Invalid.

This bug doesn't describe any problem with Mozilla.
If your OS doesn't display an error when an application terminates unexpectedly,
then take it up with your OS. :)
