User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130

Flash files are not loaded when they are accessed. Right clicking only shows
"movie not loaded". This is the same problem I had before I reformatted my
computer, and now it has resurfaced. The only application I installed yesterday
was Microsoft Visual Basic 6.

The following is the content of the Flash portion in about:plugins :
Shockwave Flash

    File name: NPSWF32.dll
    Shockwave Flash 6.0 r65

MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/x-shockwave-flash Macromedia Flash movie swf Yes
application/futuresplash FutureSplash movie spl Yes

I am running Mozilla 1.2.1
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to a site with flash contents
Actual Results:
Flash files are not loaded, right clicking on them shows 'Movie not loaded'

Expected Results:
Flash files should be loaded and played
Did you install the Active-X plugin? Do you see a plugin for
application/x-oleobject in about:plugins? If so, add Flash to the blacklist in
the registry.
Yes, I did install the ActiveX Plugin. Did that cause the problem?
How do I add it to the registry blacklist and will other things be affected?
Thanks in advance :)

The following is the details from about:plugins on the ActiveX plugin:
Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin support

    File name: npmozax.dll
Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin module

MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/x-oleobject ActiveX *.ocx Yes
application/oleobject ActiveX *.ocx Yes
text/x-activescript ActiveScript *.axs Yes

Hi, did the above suggestion help you? I have the same problem with flash movies. They show "Movie not loaded..." in FF on right click, but play fine in IE. So, yes I have the ActiveX plugins for IE, but *not* for FF. I do not have a plugin for "application/x-oleobject" in about:plugins, and I have no record for "ActiveX control" there either.
Any idea what I could try?

Many thanks,
David.
