Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
From a new profile

1. create a new Newsgroup account (for example news.mozilla.org)
DO NOT enable junk mail controls.
2. subscribe to a Newsgroup (for example netscape.public.mozilla.general)
3. download headers (for example the 500 headers of the precedent newsgroup)
2. select all the messages in this newsgroup (Ctrl + A)
3. Mark the selected messages as junk (or not junk) with "Tools > Mark Selected
Messages As Junk" or "Tools > Mark Selected Messages As Not Junk" or Button "Junk"
Actual Results:  
The application crashed

Expected Results:  
The application should not have crashed

Mozilla crach when I selected all (Ctrl+A) messages in a mail folder and deleted
them.  I do that very regularly, for messages from mailing lists delivered to
their own mail folder, an had no problems before.  The one thing that was
different this time is that I had been looking around devedge.netscape.com and
had been playing with their CSS menus and CSS customizations.  This was the
first time I visited a web site with multiple "View->Use Style->*" entries, and
I have tried them all.

I suspect a relation between the crach and manipulating CSS stypes.....

i have seen this crash without ever doing something with css. i have a mail 
folder with many messages (1500+) and first saw this crash when marking them all 
and clicking the "junk" button. this left mailnews with 0% cpu but 
unresponsible.


i thought mailnews could just not handle that much mails at once and marked 
about 100 mails and clicked the "junk" button -> worked. i selected the next 100 
mails, clicked, worked.

Pierre Baumard (and others), this bug is apparently impossible to duplicate in 
version 1.4: it is no longer possible to mark news messages as junk.  For news 
accounts, the Junk column does not function, the Mark As menu disabled the 
junk-related items, and the Mark tool doesn't even offer junk items.

If this bug is still an issue, upgrading will solve it.  =>WFM
