It locks everything off. Only Hard Reset does help. I'm certain this should not
happen at all with an OS as advanced as Win2000. But it does.

I have a hard time saying more about it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just type the URL http://www.wiki.org in
2. wait 1.5 seconds
3.

Actual Results:
computer freezes. After 1.5 seconds you can't even move the mouse anymore. No
reaction to Ctrl-Alt-Del

Expected Results:
The Web page, which shows fne in alternative Browser
Mozilla can't freeze windows 2000, XP, NT.

You have a problem with your system and it doesn't matter if it works with another
browser.

You should try to upgrade your graphic card driver, that fixed many of this
problems.

I had the same problem, with both 1.2 and 1.3, on a Win2K box. IE worked fine
but mozilla would freeze the whole machine, completely, hard reset needed, in a
minute or less. Believe it or not, upgrading the video driver fixed it. I
upgraded the video driver (ATI Rage IIC, from the 1999 driver to the 2000
driver) and now I've been using mozilla for hours without a glitch.
