Andrea, do you have the "do not load images in mailnews" option turned on in
preferences?  If so, does turning it off help?

True ~ was just there...  Browser crashes instantly.

wfm 20030317 on win98se, tested with cookies denied/allowed

wfm 2003032004 on win98 sp1 with and without "load images in mail/news" option,
cookies denied

Deleted mozilla profile/registry, downloaded latest nightly build, turned off
"do not load images in mailnews" and now it works.

Andrea, it should work even if you turn on "do not load images in mailnews",
with the latest nightly... if it does, please mark this duplicate of bug 198301
