User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 After reading a message and moving it to a different IMAP folder (one that Moz checks for new mail each time), moz throws up the new mail notification again although once the folder is entered the message shows (correctly) as read. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Read a message 2. Move it to a different IMAP folder (one that Moz checks for new mail) 3. Leave Moz alone Actual Results: Next time Moz does a periodic check of the folders for new mail it displays the new mail notification window and plays the sound. Double click the icon on the system tray and it will display the folder the message was moved to. The message is in the folder and correctly shown as read. Expected Results: Not shown the new message notification - I have already seen and read the message and Moz *should* know this. There is a fairly simple workaround. After moving the message to its folder, just open the folder. I guess Moz notices the message in the folder and so won't notify you about it on its next check of the folder.

this is fixed in 1.7, I'm pretty sure (and probably 1.6)
