I do not see some messaged in Inbox, while they are in Inbox file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Copy attached file as file Inbox to your Mail/servername/ directory.
2.Delete Inbox.msf
3.Start mozilla --mail

Actual Results:
You can see only 2 messages, while there are 3 in this file. I did not find mail
in msf file.

Expected Results:
3 messages.

I am using mozilla mail for quite some time. These Inbox mails were added one
year ago. In attached example I copied only headers of two messages with one
line of text (and modified server names) and created three mail Inbox. First
mail is OK, second is not listed (missing), third is the copy of the first one.

I expect that this will be a problem of parsing header, but these mails were
stored in mozilla by mozilla and I do not see a reason why they are not listed
now while they were in past.
Attached file testcase Inbox file
Have you deleted the second message any time in the past? In Mozilla, when you
delete a message it sets a flag in that message saying it is deleted which stops
it from being displayed. **It does not physically delete the message from the
mail files**
Looking at the mail file you attached, the 1st and last messages have a
"X-Mozilla-Status: 8001" header, whereas the 2nd has a "X-Mozilla-Status: 0009"
header. As my mail files contain the same pattern with deleted messages, this
is probably the flag that tells if the message is deleted. If you want that
message to show up again, change the 2nd message's X-Mozilla-Status header to
look like the other messages.
If you want to physically remove all deleted messages from the files, go
File->Compact Folders.

Yesterday I got mozilla mail somehow to panic while scrolling and it does not
displays any mails after that. After repopening mozilla mail app. I miss some
mails of high importance. You are right this one I put in testcase was moved
from Inbox to different folder, but this mail was then not displayed even in
this folder. Today this is correct, but I can reporduce problem with scrolling
in email window. I'll create a new bug about it.

Closing as invalid.
