User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030311 Galeon/1.3.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030311 Galeon/1.3.3 Cause not known. I logged into check my mail and could not. dialog popped up that the mail settings were incorrect. Opened the mail and newsgroup account settings. The port number has changed to 995 from 110. i changed it back and checked the tabs in the window. When I flipped back the port was 995 again. No amount of tinkering has led me to a solution. Most likely not a bug but definitely not a feature. Where to look. What setting is there that created my mess? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. opened mail and news settings 2. tried to change pop port back to 110 from unknown 995 3. clicked to ok button Actual Results: nothing, nada, nicht. Can not get rid of this port. Tried to change other settings and get same result. Expected Results: changed the port number setting to 110 and let me check my mail.
Works for me on linux with cvs 20030418. Not enough info provided. What version of mozilla are you using (your posting is from Galeon, so i can't tell what version of mozilla with the mail client you got these errors on).
