If I type a word followed by :<space><space> it gets turned into a link.

e.g. This is a test: blah blah

becomes:

This is a <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="test:&nbsp;">test:&nbsp;</a>
blah blah

This is visible in my sent-mail folder and to message recipients.

This seems similar to bug 126359, but happens with more than just "news: ".

This only started happening for me with 1.3. Prior to that I was using 1.2. Is
there an option to turn this off?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
This is fixed in 1.4a
