Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open mail & news
2. Go to a newsgroup
3. Click on a posting that has expired on the news server.

Click here to remove all expired articles
5. Click the link (which links to news://xxx@news/what.ever.group?list-ids
Actual Results:
Mozilla hangs (I get the infamous "rotating beach ball")

Expected Results:
It should have removed the expired articles from the view of the newsgroup.

It works on 1.3.1 but not on 1.4 RC1.
