User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030603 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030603 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 The way Thunderbird and Firebird (and Mozilla Suite and Firebird for that matter) currently interact with each other, if there is more than one browser profile the chooser comes up when clicking a URL in mail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set up more than 1 profile in browser client 2. Ensure browser client is closed 2. Click URL in mail client Actual Results: Profile chooser comes up. Expected Results: The URL's webpage should be displayed without forcing the user to choose a profile. Ideally, it should default to a profile based on one of the following conditions (in order of preference): 1. Start the browser with the mail client's current profile name 2. Have a configurable browser default profile in the mail client (pass the "-p <profile name>" parameter to the browser)

load the profilemanager, select your profile and check the checkbox "Don't ask at startup" Mozilla will not ask again for the profile but you can still open the profilemanager if you use "Mozilla.exe -profilemanager" -> wfm

That box doesn't stay checked in the build I'm using (20030603). I check the box, select a profile, click start and the browser starts. I close the browser and click a link in Thunderbird and I do the same thing all over again. Was that recently fixed in MozillaFirebird?
