With mozilla set to use a proxy connection from a win2k box running analogX
proxy (at 192.168.1.103:5688) any attempt to bring up certain pages brings up
a cached version of the home page instead.  Yesterday I set up the proxy and 
first experienced the error.  I know it's a cached version of the page b/c 
yesterday was the mc escher google title, and that's the page that comes up
when this error happens.  Mozilla.org and nedit.org cause the error, but
slashdot.org and cbc.ca do not, however some internal pages to these sites, or
search results cause problems.  Mozilla tries to bring up the page as a member of
the google domain, giving a 404 error, or a google sub page 
(cbc.ca/news = google.ca/news).



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Configure Mozilla to use a proxy server (192.168.1.103:6588)
2.Type http://www.mozilla.org in the address bar
3.Mozilla brings up google.ca instead of mozilla.org

Actual Results:  
home page google.ca was loaded instead of mozilla.org


Expected Results:  
opened mozilla.org

does shift-reload help?  can you try disabling keep-alives via the preferences
(look under the "Advanced->HTTP Networking" preferences panel).  thx!
