211240 - Newsreader open, Mozilla hangs when first newsgroup in list is selected

In Newsreader, if I click on first newsgroup in the list in the left pane, 
Mozilla hangs with no error message and can only be terminated via the task 
manager.  Any newsgroup other than the first appears to work properly.  Same 
problem occurs whether other newsgroups are selected and viewed first, or if the 
first-listed newsgroup is the first one I attempt to open.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla
2. Select Mail & Newsgroups from Window menu
3. Open news server entry in left pain by clicking on the arrow to the left of 
it
4. Click on first-listed newsgroup

Actual Results:  
Mozilla hangs with hour-glass displayed.  Mozilla can only be terminated via the 
task manager

Expected Results:  
Mozilla should have opened the newsgroup

Theme doesn't appear to make any difference

please try to reproduce with a clean/fresh profile
also try using the latest nightly build

if bug still here please reopen bug
