212772 - cannot empty folder, summary is empty but disk size reamins huge

This is two bugs:

1) After emptying the my draft folder the summary is empty, but the file on disk
is still huge, 45MB, even after exiting from Mozilla with quickstart disabled.

2) The folder size display in the mail summary tells me that the folder is still
large after emptying. Only after compaction does this size return to ZERO.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. delete all messages in draft folder
2. exit Mozilla
3. check folder size on disk

Actual Results:  
draft folder on disk reamins huge, 45MB

Expected Results:  
reduce folder size on disk to 0MB

Reporter, it does not appear that you have used the Compact Folders command.
Either right-click on the folder and select Compact Folder, or select a folder
for the account and select  File|Compact Folders  (which compacts all the
folders in the account).
