There is an applet on this site, so maybe you should upgrade your java.
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/ (If you read the number of bugfixes, you want to
upgrade).
Javascript console showed a lot of warnings, but that didn´t crash my win98.
Update to java 1.4.2 fixed problem.
