Details

When downloading a new version of mozilla from within mozilla, and running the
installer, it leaves the existing mozilla process running. This prevents the
installation from completing.

The installer should detect if mozilla is running. If it is, it should give the
user the choices of either :
- automatically shutdown mozilla
- let the user shutdown mozilla manually (in case there is work in progress, eg.
web forms or mail)
- aborting the installation
Summary: installer should just down existing browser → installer should detect existing browser
Are you using the MOZ_NO_REMOTE environment variable?
No.
This works fine for me. I need more info.
