After reading the same newsgroup for over 2 months, Moz tells me that there are
592 new messages (reasonable), but when I click "get msgs", it says it needs to
download over 50,000 messages (totally unreasonable)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I really don't know - I was just reading the newsgroup.
The newsgroup is on microsoft's new server, news.microsoft.com
