Was this intentionally removed or isn't it ready yet ? I can still see
references to the offline-mode in the Preferences, and in the folder properties.

Working with build 0.2a (20030820) Windows XP I also can not find any way to 
download messages so they are offline.  

I used the "Download Now" button after right clicking an IMAP folder to 
attempt to download email.
