User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030909 Firebird/0.6.1+ Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.2a (20030829) I would like to have a toolbar button that would allow me to insert signature to composed mail (also to erase it if inserted). This si useful as I don't want to append signature to all emails composed (only to official ones). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

I too would find this very useful. Furthermore, I'd like to have the option to chose from among multiple signatures.

I used to use this option a lot in Eudora and agree it would be great to have it in mozilla mail

My vote also goes in for this one. I have always had different sigs, and it doesn't help me to be able to add multiple sigs to the prefs window if I can't pick one for a particular message. To try to get this added, why not at least a cascading "Signature" menuitem from the regular "Insert" menu of the compose window? This is the way Outlook does it, and I must admit it's a NICE feature.

See Signature Switch at <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/611?application=thunderbird&id=611>. I do not believe bug reports should be resolved through the use of extensions, but this might provide a work-around while the RFE is under consideration. Perhaps, it might even serve as the basis for implementing this RFE.
