User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Well, I guess it's possible this problem also happened to me while I was using my Win98 SE. But since two days ago when I switched to Windows XP I also had the option to monitor the amount of memory Mozilla takes using the Task Manager. I noticed that when the computer starts (and also loads the Mozilla agent), mozilla takes about 20 MB of memory. I started surfing the net, opening some more tabs, used the e-mail... All I know is that I found out that when I finished all I had to do with Mozilla, that is closing all of the mail windows and all the other tabs except the one I'm now using to write this error message, Mozilla was, and currently am, using 45 MB of memory. And I know that when I started Mozilla when the system loaded, it still used only a bit more than 20 MB. Why is that? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have Windows XP 2. Start Mozilla and it's other programs 3. Use them all for some time, and see how it all ends

This is pretty normal. Memory size should increase after the startup, because of the memory cache and various other things that get allocated and not immediately freed (history, cookies, etc ...). It should level off after a while, though. Bug 217663 talks about an increase in memory leaks in 1.5.

That is no memory Leak. The memory cache is now filled and also other session based things like History... -> invalid
