When the "Master Password timeout" setting (in Preferences->Privacy and
Security->Master Password) is set to ask for the Master Password "Every time it
is needed", certain Web page links and forms break or require multiple
clicks/submissions before Mozilla actually makes the request.

For example, certain links seem to need 3 clicks before Mozilla makes the
request.  With the first 2 clicks on the link, Mozilla appears as if it begins
processing, but then the icon immediately stops moving and nothing ever happens.
 Upon the third click Mozilla sends the request normally and everything seems to
work fine.  According to our firewall, it appears that no network request is
ever made until the third click.

I did quite a bit of testing to figure out what preference option was causing
this bug.  it is definitely related to the Master Password timeout setting. 
Changing this setting back to "The first time it is needed" stops the problem.

This bug is a major inconvenience in some ways, but is a total show-stopper in
others (say in E-commerce sites when they won't let you click a "Submit my
order" button more than once, etc.).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new/clean installation of Mozilla, new user, all previous settings
directories deleted, etc.
2. Go into Mozilla Preferences and change Master Password timeout setting to
"Every time it is needed"
3. Go to http://newegg.com
4. Many places can exhibit the problem, but one example is to click on the
"Order Status" link on the upper-right hand side.  Enter an E-mail address for
the username and whatever password.
5. Click the "Submit" button.

Actual Results:  
I have to click "Submit" three times.  The first two times do nothing.  The
third time processes normally.

Expected Results:  
Mozilla should have proceeded normally on the first click to the Submit button.
 If it is having some kind of internal problem dealing with a Master Password
(being blank, for example), then some kind of default should be set
automatically, or a warning dialog box should be displayed, etc.

FYI:  I just wanted to clarify that I can reproduce this bug on MANY different
Web sites, not just NewEgg.com.  For example, it occurs in many places on
Redhat.com, Rackspace.com, etc.  I have not done any further research into the
particulars of which sites do it and which sites do not.  My guess is that the
links that exhibit this behavior may have onclick events relating to Javascript
form submissions, but I have not verified that yet.  I'll let you know if I do.

I think this is a duplicate of bug 195574.

Please try Mozilla 1.4.1. Your problem should be fixed.

Kai:  You are correct.  This is definitely a dup of 195574.  I have confirmed
the behavior is exactly as described there.  Sorry that I didn't find the dup
sooner -- I looked but didn't find it.  Thanks for the help.
