I'm using gtk2 port of Firebird but text fields on the HTML pages do not look
like native gtk2 text fields. They look like white rectangles with ugly border.
Moreover under Window XP text fields in Firebird look like native fields.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
This isn't just for buttons. It's for all GUI-like HTML widgits and some XUL
widgets, such as:
  - status bar
  - background of XUL window
  - menus
For some reason, XUL buttons are fine, as are toolbars, tabs, and XUL scrolldown
lists. This is a problem affecting all of Gecko, not just Mozilla Firebird.
There are existing specific bugs for specific bits of UI. See, for example, the
bugs listed at bug 117584 or do a query for summary contains strings NS_THEME_
(GTK). This bug doesn't provide any additional information not covered by other
core gecko bugs.
