The URL is a news article with a column of clickable links on the right. The `click zone' for each link does not line up with the text associated with that link. This is easily seen by watching where the arrow-cursor changes to a hand-cursor. For example, on the link `Gemstar surges on Nasdaq', the clickable zone is only over the characters `daq', even though the whole phrase is underlined as clickable. Links in the main body of the article appear to be fine. I am using mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-M12.tar.gz, Redhat Linux 6.1, 120 MHz Pentium, 64Megs memory, Gnome/Enlightenment.

Not sure where to start, I picked HTMLFrames. Pavlov, do you see this? If you can debug it a bit, please fix or reassign. Thanks, /be

Bug also occurs with build 1999122208 on Windows 98 SE. The right floating table is overlapped. Seems more like a Layout issue.

Bulk moving [testcase] code to new testcase keyword. Sorry for the spam!
Keywords: testcase

Summary: [FLOAT] link `click zones' misaligned with text → [FLOAT] link `click zones' misaligned with text, floated table problem
the original url is unavailable, but I looked at the attached test case and a number of other pages on CNET, and I couldn't find any problems associated with floating tables and/or links that were not properly clickable.
