User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 http://www.cornerspeed.com/kasey/fb_bug/index.html The top navigation is the area in question. When you mouse-over any of the navigation images, it makes a white vertical line on top of the image directly to the left of the redrawn image. This also happens in Mozilla and Galeon. This does NOT happen in Konqueror or Internet Explorer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.cornerspeed.com/kasey/fb_bug/index.html 2. Hover over any of the top navigation links 3. If you open a new tab and come back, the lines go away. Actual Results: A white line appears on the image immediately to the left of the redrawn (mouse-over) image. Expected Results: Don't make a white line. This may mean redrawing the image to the left of the redrawn image, but I'm not sure why this should be necessary. I have noticed this in Mozilla for some time, so I assume that the same code that Mozilla uses was used for mouse overs, so the bug was transferred to Firebird.

No problem with a 2003-12-08 build on WinXP. Please download a current nightly build and try again.

Actually, this is rendered with the same the same version of Firebird (0.7) on Windows 2000 Pro as well. This appears to be specific to linux. But, I will try the nightly build on my linux machine when I get back to work tomorrow.

This does not happen when using GNOME, so this must be a problem with the way KDE renders the mouse-overs. I will look into bug reporting this on their website. Thanks for your time all.
