User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 At http://slashdot.org/, I tried to put four links into tabs. Sometime during the links loading (in the background), Mozilla completely crashed with the message, "mozilla not found." Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://slashdot.org 2. Make sure Control-Click loads pages in the background within new tabs 3. Find the article "Interview with Peter Jackson on LoTR Bloopers" 4. Control-Click the following links (address provided in brackets): interview [http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3540652/] Fellowship of the Ring [http://www.moviemistakes.com/film1778] The Two Towers [http://www.moviemistakes.com/film2638] Return of the King [http://www.moviemistakes.com/film2746] Actual Results: Watched Mozilla get shot down in flames. Expected Results: Opened the new tabs, while remaining focused at slashdot.org. Afterwards, the tabs should have contained the content of all the sites listed above.

Others have reported this is crashing their Mozillas however.

No crash on Win2k. My debug build hits the assertion NS_ASSERTION(NS_UNCONSTRAINEDSIZE != aReflowState.availableWidth, "this doesn't do anything"); in http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/layout/html/table/src/nsTableFrame.cpp#1941 1-2 dozen times while loading the third page.

Bug Day: 1-13-2004 Tested With: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040113 I think I spoke too soon. This seems to work for the four people I had try it. I can't confirm the problem that you spoke of. Perhaps the pages have changed and the crash went away?

I have retested the page. It would seem they have changed it as my browser no longer crashes. It was only the one page (MSN) that caused the problem. All other links loaded fine.
