User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031230 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031230 Frequently (more frequently when connected with a low speed internet connection) if I start downloading messages for off-line use and I contemporary read a message with attachement, the message get broken and I can see the header, but I cannot see the body or any attachement. The only way to restore the message is to delete the file folder (INBOX.msf and INBOX) and download again all the folder!!!! It is very annoying, and it is present since release 1.5 (at least in my understanding) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download for off-line use a mail folder with messages with a big attachement (>1M) 2. during download try to open the same message 3. Actual Results: the message is there as header but it cannot be read Expected Results: show the message I would sugget to at least add a menu item that allow you to download again a message in the mail folder!

sounds like the offline store is getting corrupted - probably two different pieces of code updating the offline store at the same time. There should be a folder lock to prevent this from happening, but it sounds like it's not working.

May be similar to bug 468637, though a lot has changed in the IMAP backend since this was filed, and the report here is on the message not displayed at all whereas the offline copy is incomplete if interrupted in the other report.
