When you send a multiline message to someone privately, every new line puts out
an annoying beep. One or to beeps in total should be more then enough to bring
to your attention that someone PMed you, even if they sent a whole block of
text. Even just 30 lines of eg code sent in a PM this way is enough to drive you
mad :P

Thus, if the same person sends many messages to you privately within eg 60sec,
it should be enough to only color the tab red after the first 1-2 beeps/lines.

This has been fixed since ChatZilla 0.9.63 --> FIXED.

The preference Overlap Delay (Global Settings > Global > Sounds) defaults to 2
seconds, preventing the same event playing a sound again within that time. You
can change it to a longer time if you like.
