Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20040103 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20040103 Firebird/0.7

While entering text into a box (such as the one used to submit stuff to
bugzilla, or the url/uri Navigation box), all such text boxes will become
non-responsive.

The very odd work-around is to type something into a console, and Firebird will
start responding. Note that this will not work if the console you pick happens
to be su'd to another user account.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Firebird to fill out a web form, or open a url/uri by typing in the
Navigation textbox.
2. Try clicking in and out of the text area repeatedly.
3. Try highlighting and typing over text repeatedly.
4. Try double clicking the Navigation textbox repeatedly.
Actual Results:
All text input boxes in Firebird became unresponsive.

Expected Results:
The text boxes should continue working, of course. :)

KDE 3.1.4
I can't seem to reproduce.

Without a set of reproduceable steps, this isn't going anywhere. I'm unable to
reproduce with the latest Firefox branch builds on Linux or winXP
