User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 The page located at http://www.classicgolddigital.com requires cookies and JavaScript to be enabled to even gain access to the website. Not only is there no way to attempt to view the main page without these needless prerequisites, if you even get into the website, much of the content does not even appear with Mozilla or Firebird (prime examples would be the "Contact Us" page and the "Schedule" page, which do not appear under Firebird 0.7 (official release). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit website with Cookies turned off. 2. Turn cookies on, but JavaScript off. 3. Turn JavaScript back on and enter the site, choosing a location, or clicking one of the other buttons. 4. Try to access the "Schedule" and "Contact Us" pages. Actual Results: 1. You will be denied access. 2. You will not be denied access, but you cannot enter, as the entry links are JavaScript controlled, with no text-based alternative. 3. You will find that the header image/logo in the top left does not load (the src is incorrect or missing). 4. The pages appear to have no content, only the menu structure and header is shown. Expected Results: 1. Cookies should not be required simply to view the content of the page, expected behaviour from this website would have been immediate entry, rather than basic links to instructions for enabling cookies. 2. If they wanted to use a map to allow users to select the area in which they live, they should use an image-map instead of javascript for this purpose, and provide alt tags in case the user is browsing with a text-only browser. 3. Images should contain alt text in case the links break, and for users that have images disabled, cannot see, etc, image should also work for those that *can* see images. 4. Content should always be accessible on every page. The first (main) page you see contains multiple images that make up the entire content. None of these images have alt or title text attributes, and the only text-based content is the scrolling marquee. This renders the front page inaccessible to disabled users in general. There are countless such occurances of bad standards compliance and general bad practises throughout the website. Initial Bug Severity: Major. It might not be the most important site on the Internet, but there's plenty of faults.
