Description

open the account manager, create a new account.
for the signature, specify a new file, one that doesn't exist.
it will create that file, but as a directory.

I figured out where this is happening - it's in the prefs code of all places. it
assumes this pref is for a directory.... I'll fix that when I fix up prefs.

I disagree that this is a beta stopper, this only happens if you manually type a 
signature path... if you choose one via the file picker, you don't hit this 
problem.

Well, at least we got some new information in the bug :-)

I doubt many people will type in the value.  Removing the nsbeta2 nomination on
the assumption this isn't affecting many users.
