User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; de-AT; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031221

One week ago after installing Mozilla started up normally. The first time I
installed Mozilla 1.6, it started and I could work.
Because of an error with another program I had to install Mozilla 1.6 for
another time. Since this time Mozilla doesn´t start: not at the beginning after
installation and not after. It seemes to be the same error Mozilla had since
version 1.3. The last version of Mozilla without this error is that one now I
work with (which I downloaded in December 2003): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98;
de-AT; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031221.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Cleaning the registry with all Mozilla statements
2. Run mozilla-win32-1.6-installer.exe
3.

Actual Results:
After finishing the installation no start is possible
Did you install Mozilla in a new directory?
Did you create a new profile near the end of installation, before start?
Did you look at the install_status.log in your mozilla program directory after
the failed installation? Open with notepad, it´s a text file.

Maybe there is something wrong with a GRE, have a look at
c:\Windows\Programme\GemeinsameDateien\GRE\1.7a_2004....
there is also a install_status.log over there.

There is a differrence between the end of the logfiles:

The lines before are similarly. I hope the difference in the logfile data will
help you to find the error.
Reporter: could you try this with a recent nightly installer ? Thanks.
