[Split from bug 218146] If you drag off an element with -moz-opacity, onmouseup and onclick fire when you let go of the mouse button. This doesn't happen for normal (opaque) elements.

I don't see the bug anymore, using a trunk build of 2004-12-06. I can see the bug with Mozilla1.7. So I guess, this might be already fixed somehow.
