I didn't know where else to send this, apologies if inappropriate

The date/time sort function appears to sort by the time stamp of the sender,
rather than by when it was received in my IMAP folder.  This means that new
messages sometimes appear in the list idiosynchratically.  If I have the screen
set at the newest mail, sometimes this means that newer mail enters the list off
the screen somewhere and I miss it.  Couldn't find any way to set this as a pref.
