User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 I have an > 400 MB Outlook.pst with a large DB of addresses and have saved important e-mails in a variety of folders. I've been fighting this for three weeks. I did not want to install Outlook on this new PC, but had to for Mozilla mail to import addresses or mail. All recent efforts have also failed: Made Jon an Administrator, Mozilla was uninstalled, Outlook was ironed out and works great in both Admin & Jon. Moz brouser & Moz mail work great except for importing. When attempting to import mail -> "An error occurred importing mail from Outlook: Unable to find mail to import. Check to make sure the mail application is correctly installed on this machine". When attempting to import addresses -> "Addresses successfully imported from Outlook: No address books found to import". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Can not import either mail or addresses 2. 3. Actual Results: Import Addresses states success, but none found Import E-mail states error, unable to find any mail. Expected Results: Import

Are you sure Outlook was the default mail application? Make it the default and ensure Preferences/Mail&Newsgroups/General Settings/Use Mozilla Mail as the default mail application is unchecked. I experienced the same problems like you, but with the above changes it imported mail successfully.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. Based on comment #1 which hasn't been responded to (after >1 year), I'm marking this as WFM. Reporter, if you still have problems with the latest builds, please check you have done as instructed in comment 1, and then reopen this bug if necessary.
