I am trying to run Oracle Applications 11.5.9 using the Mozilla browser 1.6.
It doesn't launch any of the forms. I downloaded and installed JInitiator and
the next time I go to that page it still says I don't have the plugin. Mozilla
does not recognize this plugin. Have there been any work arounds to get
Mozilla working with Oracle 11.5.9? Are there any scripts written to use
Oracle Applications? We are trying to use Mozilla as a browser for an Oracle
Implementation. Thanks for any help.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to: http://socsoorer01.solnet.com:9900/dev60cgi/f60cgi
2. click icon to download and install plugin
3. restart Mozilla and login to Oracle Apps
4. attempt to open form

Actual Results:
After I restart Mozilla, the plugin is still not recognized. When I login to
the Oracle Apps and attempt to open the form, nothing happens.

Expected Results:
The software should recognize that the plugin has been downloaded and
installed. Oracle Applications should have launched the form to use whatever
module.
does not block Mozilla development

Does this help? (note: depending on the JInit version you'll need to change the
filenames slightly)

Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox users only : JInitiator by default will install
into directory C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.9. In order for
Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox to use the JInitiator successfully, you must copy
the file
C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.3.1.9\bin\NPJinit1319.dll
to the \plugins\ directory for your browser. (Commonly, browsers are installed
in subdirectories of C:\Program Files; for example,
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\.)

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
